While i would normally post this thread in the locked area of the Forum for Investigators only, I have decided to post it hear so that all can read and perhaps learn from some of our experiments.
As many of you know, my team is unafraid to try new things, we are strong on bringing forth technologies that can allow us to trace anomalies with ease of time. This being obvious with the new work we are doing with UV-B lighting and the results that have come with that, as well as RF detectors with limited detection distance.
But with the new, we incorporate the old. For a while now, when possible we have used K9's in our investigations. Those of you who are dog owners can probably understand why..they have an inbred detection ability that lets them know when something is awry in their environment. Now..for many years i thought it was because their hearing was so much more advanced then ours. But, a year and a half ago, I was given a Daschund puppy as a gift.. he is deaf to normal noise as far as the vet and i can tell. However, this animal NEVER fails to react when he is in a paranormal environment. Those of you who were with me at the Biltmore, will most likely remember Peanut's reactions in the Presidential Suite.. it was uncanny..he simply would not stop barking in the area towards the second bedroom... and was visibly upset..and in the same area, we showed massive elevations of EMF reading..as well as later that night.. after we called out what was supposedly haunting that area..the fire alarms triggered for no reason. After that, Peanut was taken to a residential area known for activity..he indeed triggered on the ONE area that was brought up by every resident that lived in that house..which was a hallway near a bathroom where shadows had been seen.. he once again circled and barked insistantly and would not be calmed. And once again..we showed elevated EMF.
in following with that, we incorporated the gifts of Tambra, who trains dogs, She has trained a Yellow Lab named Honey to respond on EMF elevation. This too is now an added tool to our arsenal..very basic..but effective.
My suggestion to any teams reading this..is if you are going to add the canine aspect to ur teams..GET permission from your clients first..make sure the animal is NOT over reactive..and spend several weeks "breaking the animal in" before utilizing on a field investigation..slowly expose them to areas which are considered haunted..and note their reactions.
With all the advancements in tech in our field..sometimes i think the basics may indeed be the most innocently solid answers
